What are some good isolated campgrounds in northern california?

My wife and I were thinking of getting away from things for a weekend and decided to go camping. We were hoping for a more isolated campground or a campground where each campsite is decently separated. Any suggestions? Oh and we live around Santa Rosa we were thinking of going somewhere more northish….

Are there any good places to RV camp in the Adirondacks outside of RV parks where you don’t have to pay?

I am in the military and have been stationed in Idaho and Montana. My family and I got spoiled by RV camping in some of the most beautiful scenery down some dirt road and next to a river or lake. The best part of it was that we did not have to pay anything for this type of camping. Now that I am retiring and moving to upstate New York, I would like to enjoy that area in the same manor too. Are there any maps of place up there like this?

Any tips on camping with allergies?

I got allergy and asthma. I got my allegra D, Asthma meds, and some benedryl… I really dont know if its enough though. This is allergy season here and its really bad. Its supposed to rain tomorrow will that lower the pollen count?

What are the best campgrounds of Hoosier National Forest in Indiana?

Any suggestions? I’ve never been and am planning a camping trip in 2 weeks. I’m looking to split it up into two sites:

1) Campground near a lake with accomodations (toilets, sinks, etc)
2) Backcountry camping… One suggestion I’ve been given is Hemlock Cliffs but I wasn’t given a reason why, so I’m open to others.

Also, if you have any suggestions for things to do, see, trails to hike, and especially any solid fishing spots… definitely let me know!
